Generally I have some kind of idea where a piece of art is going before I get too far into it. Even if I haven't sketched out an idea, I've at least got an idea for a theme, picked through my piles of junk for some fitting objects, and settled on a rough composition before doing any construction. However, every so often I'll build a structure in the hopes that an idea will reveal itself during the process. This is just one of those build-it-and-the-ideas-will-(hopefully)-come projects. At this point the piece has the appearance of some kind of little (approximately 9 X 6 X 7") shrine. To what? I have no idea. Hopefully the subject matter will reveal itself soon.
